Summer is coming 😀 Let’s go to the beach!
Tomorrow will be the last day as waiter.. at least for the moment. In two weeks I’ll go back to Rome, Italy for almost six months to work in an infopoint of Camping Fabulous, followed by a yoga teacher training at Samyak Yoga in India and traveling in Thailand and Indonesia. So no more tables, orders and guests anymore for this moment, but you know:”Once a waiter, always a waiter”.
And guess what will be the final song of CrazyWaiter – The Musical ??
A very nice song which everybody knows and will sing along with you. Here’s a flash mob of “Do Re Mi”, in the Central Station of Antwerp. It is a promotion stunt for a Belgian television program, where they are looking for someone to play the leading role, in the musical of “The Sound of Music”
Sometimes at work, when I close my eyes, I’m standing on a huge stage with a big orchestra behind me performing theatrically this song 🙂 But when I open them I see some kids laughing about my silly arm movents with the beat 😀 This song will be of course part of “CrazyWaiter – The Musical” and maybe it will be a key turning point song. Why? Just come to the musical to find out 🙂
Whatever you do do it with passion! Here is sign language interpreter Tommy Krångh who “translates” the song of the eventual winner Magnus Carlsson at the national Eurovision Final in Sweden. It reminds me that I have to learn Sign Language as well. Only problem is that it isn’t universal and seen the six languages I speak daily it won’t be an easy task! Songtext and (Google) translation after the jump.
If you have a lot of little girls as guest, this is the only song you have to know nowadays 🙂
My favorite part
“It’s funny how some distance,
makes everything seem small.
And the fears that once controlled me,
can’t get to me at all
It’s time to see what I can do,
to test the limits and break through.”
Although it’s ment for kids, I really like it. It’s a very clever song with multiple layers, in this video a professor explains the song structure, while this article analyses the lyrics. Of course Wikipedia gives also a lot of info.
